This replacement fuel tank sending unit fits 82-83 CJ5 and 82-86 CJ7/CJ8 models equipped with 20 gallon steel fuel tanks. It features a lock ring design and a 10-73 ohm impedance range (10 ohms at FULL). For sending unit O-ring, use 17730.01. For lock ring, use 17727.02. Replaces OE 5362090
